Germany has 2 trillion debt
Germany currently has almost 2 trillion debt. Accurately reported by the Federal Statistical Office € 1998.8 billion, those are only 304 billion more than the year before. Since we will make ourselves so no worries. That's only the strongest annual increase since 1950, but since we can not exactly gaaaaanz remain calm. It should be noted is that special fund, which once again separate debts are not even mentioned in it. Effect of high debt is already clear that the Federal Republic must currently spend 15% of the budget for it to even the first on the INTEREST to pay old debts, repayment of there's no question. Imagine, now, interest rates rise to double, it would be paying 30% of the federal budget is spent on interest. If interest rates rise to three times, would have 45% of the federal budget is spent on interest. Historically, interest rates were many times much higher than three times the low levels now. This shows the dilemma in which the ECB and the Bundesbank is: you should really raise interest rates to address the excess liquidity from the market and to fight inflation, but that could afford to is not the federal budget, because then the interest payments for the state would be too high. Not without reason, the Chancellor a "emissaries" have sent from their employees in the Southeastern Bank Board, they surely would like to interest rates remain low, or breaks the total federal budget together.
